How Is EMS Plus Different From Standard EMS?

Where It Goes and Where to Book

We could not confirm the list of countries EMS Plus serves. Ask at a computerised General Post Office (GPO) or a large post office that books international mail, and check that your destination is covered before you pack.

Papers You Need to Book

When you send a parcel abroad, you will usually need the following. Ask at the counter for the exact list:

• CN22 or CN23 customs form: A list of what is inside, how many items, their weight and their value. Use CN22 for items under 2 kg (or worth under 300 SDR) and CN23 for parcels over 2 kg.
• Sender Identification: Your CNIC or passport, in case the counter asks for it.
• Commercial Invoices: An invoice for goods, samples or valuable items.
• Packaging Compliance: Strong packing that is safe for air travel. Ask whether staff need to check the contents before you seal it.

Tracking Your EMS Plus Parcel

An EMS parcel sent from Pakistan usually has a 13-character tracking number that starts with ‘E’ and ends with ‘PK’ (for example, EE123456789PK). Track it on the Pakistan Post tracking website at ep.gov.pk while it is in Pakistan. After it leaves, you can often track the same number on the postal website of the destination country, such as Royal Mail in the UK or USPS in the USA.
