Standard Counter Operating Timings
GPO counters have set opening hours, which can change on holidays:
- Monday to Saturday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at GPO counters.
- Friday: A prayer break from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
- Sunday: Most post offices are closed on Sundays, but 85 designated GPOs open from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM for booking UMS, EMS and registered mail.
